The present appeal has not been pursued by the learned
advocate who preferred this appeal against an order of acquittal in
respect of Patashpur Police Station Case No.52 of 1994 dated
11.08.1994 wherein the learned Judicial Magistrate, Second Court,
Contai, Purba Medinipur, by his judgment and order dated 18th
December, 2021 was pleased to acquit the accused persons from
charges under Sections 498A/323 of the Indian Penal Code.
As none appeared on behalf of the appellant on 26th July,
2022, there was a direction for the matter to appear again under the
heading "Admission of Appeal" on 26.08.2022.
Today, when the matter was called, none represented on
behalf of the appellant. Accordingly, Mr. Dipanjan Dutt, learned
advocate empanelled with the High Court Legal Aid Services
Authority is directed to represent the appellant. His appointment
may be regularised by the concerned authorities.
List the matter under the heading "Admission of Appeal"
on 2nd September, 2022.
