Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the

petitioner is aggrieved with the orders passed by the learned Special

Court, firstly, on entertaining the application filed by the State for

extension of time and secondly, for the reasons so assigned in the

order dated 15.07.2021.

Learned advocate relies on a compilation of judgments

delivered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court as well as by the different

High Courts on the issue.

Mr. Roychowdhury, learned advocate appearing for the

State opposes the contentions and relies upon the judgments of the
