The petitioner claims that her mother had worked as
General Mazdoor of Lachipur Colliery under Kajora Area of Eastern
Coalfields Limited. She died on January 24, 2004. Her prayer for
compassionate employment was rejected by the authorities. She
prayed for monetary compensation in lieu of the compassionate
employment. A representation has been made in this regard which
is pending since the year 2020.
In those circumstances, the authority respondent no. 4, shall
consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation within a
period of 2 months from the date of communication of a copy of this
order in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid observations, WPA 238 of 2021 is
disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this judgment, if applied
for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
