This is an application for contempt alleging wilful

violation of the order of this Court dated January 07, 2020

passed in the connected revisional application whereby the

learned trial Judge was requested to dispose of an

application filed by the petitioner under Section 7 (2) of the

West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 within three

weeks from the date of communication of the aforesaid

order.

The petitioner alleges that the order dated January 07,

2020 has been wilfully violated by not disposing the said

application till date.

Mr. Adhikary learned advocate for the petitioner

however informs this Court that the learned trial Judge has

concluded the hearing of the said application and has fixed

January 12, 2021 as the date for delivery of judgment on

the said application.

That being the position the hearing of the application for

contempt is adjourned till January 13, 2021.
