Rajia Begum Vs.
Barnali Mukherjee and others
(Via video conference)
Mr. Mainak Bose, Mr. Souritra Ganguly, Mr. Samit Bhanja, Mr. Subhojit Seal .... for the petitioner
Mr. Ratnanko Banerjee, Mr. Reetobroto Mitra, Mr. Chandra Sekhar Jha, Mr. Aditya Kumar
.... for the opposite party no.1
Affidavit-of-service filed in court today be kept
on record. Despite service on all the opposite parties,
only the opposite party no.1 is represented today
through counsel.
Heard learned counsel appearing for both the
parties in part.
For the sake of convenience, learned counsel for
the parties are requested to come prepared with their
respective written notes of arguments and a
compilation of the judgments they want to rely on for
a comprehensive hearing on the next returnable date.
The matter shall next be enlisted on August 13,
2021 for further hearing and for filing such written
notes by both parties.
At this juncture, learned counsel submits that
the next date for hearing of the suit is fixed on August
11, 2021.
It appears that an interim order previously
granted, staying all further proceedings of the suit,
has expired sometime back. That apart, an application
for vacating the same is also pending. Be that as it
may, since the matter has already been heard in part,
let the interim order granted earlier stand extended till
August 20, 2021 or until further order, whichever is
earlier. The connected interlocutory application shall
come up for hearing along with the civil revisional
application on the next returnable date.
