Criminal Application (APPA) No.588 of 2022 The judgment dated 9.6.2022 indicates that after the judgment, the application filed by the applicant for suspension of sentence and bail was allowed by the designated Court for a limited period till expiry of appeal or till presentation of appeal before the High Court whichever is earlier. The appeal has been filed on 6.7.2022, which would indicate that the order of protection granted by the learned designated Court expired on that date, in spite of which, neither the appeal got listed nor the order of the designated court was got extended, as a result of which, as of today, there is no order protecting the liberty of the applicant. The applicant therefore to first surrender, then list the application.
