1 Learned Counsel Ms. Devyani Kulkarni appearing for the

survivor submits that she has personally spoken to the survivor and it is

learnt that she has not received any compensation till today although the

accused are convicted for the offence punishable under section 328 read

with section 34, 363, 366-A, 370(4) read with section 34 of the Indian

Penal Code and under section 11 punishable under section 12 of the

Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

2 In fact, the surveyor is entitled to compensation under

Victim Compensation Act enacted by the State of Maharashtra. Copy of

the Judgment be sent to the Office of the District Legal Services Authority,

Bombay within one week. The District Legal Services Authority shall take

all necessary steps to disburse the compensation, which is due to the

survivor irrespective of the fact that the appeal is pending. Notice be

served upon the survivor through Dharavi Police Station. Stand over to

2/12/2021.
