This is an application for grant of early hearing moved by the appellant.

Heard Mr. Sohoni, learned counsel for applicant. He has pointed out that the appeal is admitted on 21.12.2015 and while admitting, the appeal, filing of the paper was dispensed with. He further pointed out that the Land Acquisition Officer has delivered the award in the year 1992 and the reference Court has decided the reference petition filed by the appellant in the year 1996. Against that the said, the authority filed an appeal before the Court in the year 1997 and in 2015, this Court allowed the appeal filed on behalf of the State and the matter was remanded back to the reference Court. He further pointed out that after the matter was remanded back, the learned reference Court again decided the reference and passed the impugned judgment and decree

on 16.05.2015. He submitted that applicant is presently aged about 75 years.

In the backdrop of aforesaid and looking to the fact that the applicant is a senior citizen, the application needs favourable consideration.

Hence, the application is allowed. Registry is directed to place this application on the final hearing board of the week commencing from 06.12.2021.

The application is disposed of.
