. In spite of service of notice, there is no appearance on

behalf of sole respondent.

2. The challenge in this appeal is to the quantum of

compensation of Rs.71,000/- with interest @ 9% p.a. It was an

injury claim. The appellant is Zilla Parishad, one of the arms of the

State. Perusal of the impugned judgment leads to observe to have no

reason to interfere therewith. The appeal is dismissed at admission

stage itself.

3. The amount in deposit, be paid to the respondent -

claimant along with interest accrued thereon.
