1. The present application is preferred on merits as
well as on the ground that the charge-sheet was not filed
within time and, therefore, he is entitled to bail under
Section 167 of Cr.P.C..
2. At the outset, learned counsel for the applicant
fairly admits that the question of law under Section 167(2)
of Cr.P.C. in this particular case is covered by the judgment of
the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Dinesh Dalmia Vs.
CBI as reported in (2007) 8 SCC 770. Therefore, he is not
pressing that particular ground for the applicant's release on

bail. He shall only make submissions on the merits of the
matter.
3. Therefore, the matter will be considered only on
merits of the matter. Stand over to 29.7.2021.
