ORAL JUDGMENT (Per Sunil B. Shukre, J) :

1. Rule returnable forthwith. Heard finally by consent of

Mr.Raju Kadu, learned Counsel for the petitioner and

Mr.S.M.Ghodeswar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who

appears by waiving service for respondent nos. 1 to 3.

2. The prayer made in the present petition being limited, we

propose to dispose of this petition in terms of such limited prayer.

3. The application of petitioner dated 22.1.2020 seeking

furlough leave for 30 days appears to be still pending with

respondent no.2. It would be necessary for respondent no.2 to verify

this fact and take appropriate decision in the matter, if the application

is still pending. Accordingly, we direct respondent no.2 to decide the

application dated 22.1.2020 made by the petitioner, if it is still 3 wp165.21.odt

pending, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of

order, in accordance with law.

In view of above, the petition is disposed of.

Rule accordingly.
