The petitioners claim that they are entitled to receive interest on the delayed payment of compensation, which is their entitlement in view of the judgment of this Court in Writ Petition No. 1416 of 2016 (Vikas Badrinath Doifode & oth..vs.. Staet of Mah. & oth.), decided on 21/12/2016 and confirmed by the Apex Court.

3. Issue notice for final disposal at admission stage to the respondents, returnable after four weeks.

4. Ms N.P.Mehta, learned A.G.P. waives service of notice for the respondent Nos.1, 2 and 4 and Shri Amit Kukday, learned Advocate waives service of notice for the respondent No.3.
