Both the counsel appeared.
Pursuant to the directions of this Court,
the respondents/ contemnors appeared in-
person. Hence their presence is dispensed for the present.
Learned counsel for the petitioner filed calculation Memo showing the sum entitled by the petitioners, wherein it was stated as follows: "It is submitted that, the petitioners continued in service from 01.07.2016 to 30.06.2018 (2 Years), for which period the contemnors did not pay them salaries. This Hon'ble Court in its judgment dt. 19.07.2022 held that, the Petitioners are entitled for salaries and also they are entitled to continue up to 65 years of age as per AICTE Act. Inspite of the judgment, salaries were not paid".
Learned counsel for the respondents agreed to pay Rs. 5,00,000/- on 16.10.2023, out of balance amount of Rs. 26,15,680/- and remaining balance will be paid within four months from 16.10.2023. The same is accepted by the learned counsel for the petitioners. With regard to service of the petitioners are concerned, it will be subject to result of the Writ Appeal.
Recording the submissions of both the counsel, list the matter on 09.02.2024.
