Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

The name of the sole accused in S.C. No.184 of 2012 on the file of the learned Special Judge for trial of cases under SC and ST (POA) Act, 1989 - cum - IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Srikakulam, is Bongu Manmadha Rao S/o Late Chinnababu. However, at the time of filing the Appeal, it was wrongly stated that the name of the sole accused is Bongu Ramanadha Rao. The same is carried into the judgment while disposing of the said Appeal on 30.08.2023.

Therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner has now file this forbeing mention petition to rectify the said mistake crept in the judgment relating to the name of the accused.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor also fairly concedes that the original name of the sole accused is Bongu Manmadha Rao and that it is wrongly mentioned in the grounds of appeal and the same is carried into the judgment.

Therefore, the Interlocutory Application is allowed rectifying the said mistake in the judgment. The name of the accused/appellant is ordered to be shown as Bongu Manmadha Rao S/o Late Chinnababu in the judgment.
