Calendar Case pertains to the year 2014. At the time of hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that due to the stay granted by this Court, trial could not be completed.

In view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Apex Court in Asian Resurfacing of Road Agency Private Limited and Another v. Central Bureau of Investigation (2018) 16 SCC 299, stay is not in force. Hence, the trial Court is directed to proceed with the trial forthwith.

Post the matter on 08.08.2023.
