The learned Public Prosecutor has taken notice for the respondent and seeks time to obtain instructions.

In view of the judgment of the erstwhile High Court of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in 2015 (3) ALT (Cri)171, holding that investigation in matters relating to the A.P. Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act, 1999, can be conducted only by the designated officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police, whereas investigation in the present case had been carried out by the Circle Inspector, there shall be a stay of all further proceedings in C.C.No.6 of 2022 in the Court of Principal District & Sessions Judge,

Kurnool District, as far as the petitioner is concerned.

Post the matter in usual course.
