WRIT PETITION No.38694 of 2015
JUDGMENT:-
The petitioner has filed the writ petition under Article 226
of the Constitution of India challenging the proceedings of
Appeal No.26308/SIC-LTK/2013, the proceedings dated
12.08.2014 by the 3rd respondent, and the circular dated
30.10.2015 by the 4th respondent, with the prayer to quash the
same.
2. From perusal of the record, it is evident that the
proceedings initiated are under the petitioner's application
dated 27.07.2013 seeking information under the Right to
Information Act, 2005 (for short, the RTI Act).
3. On 02.02.2023, this Court passed the following order:-
"No representation for the petitioner.
This matter has been listed under the caption „specially identified cases‟, for the first time after 27.11.2015. In the interests of justice and also to enable the learned counsel for the petitioner to argue the matter on the next date of listing, list on 16.02.2023 under the same caption with clear understanding the since the matter pertains to the year 2015 and has been listed as „specially identified cases‟, the same shall be argued on the next date and no further adjournment shall be requested."
4. Today also there is no representation for the petitioner.
5. The petitioner might have lost interest to prosecute the
writ petition.
6. The writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any
pending, shall also stand closed.
