ORDER:

The petitioner had executed contract works for construction of

providing CC Road over existing damaged CC Road in certain areas of

Naniyala, 89-Pedduru GP of Ramakuppam Mandal in Chittoor District,

under different Agreement dates. As the petitioner was not paid his dues,

viz., Rss.3,12,234 in M.Book No.3413-B; Rs.2,97,196/- in M.Book

No.3416-B; Rs.2,23,709/- in M.Book No.3417-B; Rs.1,77,793/- in M.Book

3273-B; Rs.2,16,684/- in M.Book 3728-B; Rs.1,81,627/- in M.Book 3729-B;

Rs.1,70,049/- in M.Book No.4051-B; Rs.10,12,837/- in M.Book No.467-B;

Rs.10,99,977/- in M.Book No.468-B; and Rs.2,09,599/- in M.Book No.494-

B respectively, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of the

present writ petition.

2. A learned Single Judge of this Court, in similar

Circumstances, after considering the earlier orders of this Court, by an

order dated 08.02.2022 in W.P.No. 3074 of 2022, had directed that the

respondents should pay the principal amount of the bill raised by the

petitioner therein while leaving it open to the petitioner to agitate his right

for interest.

3. In the said circumstances and following the said judgment,

this writ petition is allowed, with a direction to the respondents to finalize

the amounts payable to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from 2 RRR,J W.P.No.1740 of 2023

today and in any event to pay the amounts due to the petitioner within a

period of six weeks thereafter.

4. Needless to say, it would be open to the petitioner to agitate

his rights for payment of interest in an appropriate forum. There shall be

no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand

closed.
