                   WRIT PETITION No.1865 of 2023
ORDER:

The petitioner had executed a contract work for Operation &

Maintenance of CPWS Scheme to Kondepi & 27 other Habitations

in Tanagutur, Singarayakonda & Zarugumilli Mandal in Prakasam

District under various Agreement Nos.7/11/2017-18 dated

19.10.2019, Agreement No. /2020-221 dated 01-02-2021,

Agreement No. /2021-22 dated 13.12.2021, Agreement No. /2022-

23 dated 06.07.2022 for a sum of Rs.52,39,688/-, Rs.3,74,595/-,

Rs.49,84,118/- and Rs.25,55,063/- had been prepared. As the

payments of the said amounts have not been made by the

respondents, the petitioner has approached this Court, by way

of this writ petition.

2. A learned Single Judge of this Court, in similar

Circumstances, after considering the earlier orders of this Court,

by an order dated 08.02.2022 in W.P.No.3074 of 2022, had

directed that the respondents should pay the principal amount of

the bill raised by the petitioner therein while leaving it open to the

petitioner to agitate his right for interest.

3. In the said circumstances and following the said

judgment, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the

respondents to finalize the amounts payable to the petitioner

within a period of three weeks from today and in any event to pay

the amounts due to the petitioner within a period of six weeks

thereafter.

4. Needless to say, it would be open to the petitioner to

agitate his rights for payment of interest in an appropriate forum.

There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall

stand closed.
