CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.1346 OF 2007
ORDER:
Learned counsel for the Revision Petitioner would submit that
this revision is preferred against the concurrent judgments of
conviction and sentence passed against the accused in C.A. No.482
of 2002 dated 26.09.2007 on the file of the Hon'ble IX Additional
Sessions Judge (FTC) at Guntur, sentencing the petitioner to
undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of one (1) year and to
pay fine of Rs.1000/-, in default to undergo simple imprisonment for
a period of 3 months for the offence punishable under Section 324 of
IPC.
Learned counsel further submits that the Revision Petitioner
already served the sentence passed against him. The relief prayed in
the petition becomes infructuous and revision case may be
dismissed.
Learned Public Prosecutor would submit that the revision case
may be dismissed as there are no merits in the case.
Having heard the submissions of both the counsel, this
Criminal Revision Case is dismissed.
In the circumstances, both parties shall bear their own costs.
As a sequel, interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stands
closed.
