IA No.2 of 2022 This petition is filed seeking clarification in the operative portion of the order in WP No.18483 of 2022 dated 04.07.2022.

In para 6 of the order passed in WP No.18483 of 2022 dated 04.07.2022, instead of directing the appropriate authority to examine the case of the petitioner in accordance with Rule 8 Sub-rule (2) (a) of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services Rules, 1991, the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court is mentioned.

In view of the same, para 6 of the order in WP No.18483 of 2022 dated 04.07.2022 is modified as follows.

"6. In view of the facts and circumstances and as the learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner was in judicial remand for only 45 hours and the surrender certificate produced by the petitioner, the appropriate authority is directed to examine the case of the petitioner in accordance with Rule 8 (2) (a) of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services Rules, 1991 and take appropriate decision in the matter."

The IA is, accordingly, ordered. Registry is directed to issue modified copy of order.
