Heard Mr. S. Murali Mohan, learned counsel for the appellant, and Mr. S. Dushyanth Reddy, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

2. The appeal is directed against the judgment dated 04.03.2022 in Sessions Case No.92 of 2021 passed by the learned VIII Additional District and Sessions Judge - cum - Special Court for Trial of Offences against Women, Nellore by which the appellant has been convicted under Section 302 I.P.C. and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life and pay fine of Rs.500/-, and in default, to undergo simple imprisonment for three months.

3. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, the matter is admitted for hearing.
