                       WRIT PETITION No. 9524 of 2011

JUDGMENT: (Heard and pronounced through Blue Jeans App (Virtual)
          mode, since this mode is adopted on account of prevalence of
          COVID-19 pandemic)

      Heard Mr. Dilip Jayaram, learned counsel, representing Mr. K. Murali

Krishna, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. K. Narsi Reddy, learned

Government Pleader for Transport, Roads & Buildings representing respondent

Nos.1 to 3.

2. The writ petition is filed seeking the following relief:

"....... To issue an appropriate writ, order or directions mostly one which is in the nature of a writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondents 1 and 2 in opening the price bid of the 4th respondent having refused to do so earlier and in not awarding the contract work of "Improvement to Tirupathi Rayalacheruvu Road to YR Kandriga TV Safarlu from KM 0/0 to 3/440 in Chittoor District" as illegal, irregular, arbitrary unconstitutional, unjustified and unsustainable and pass such other order or orders as it may deem fit and proper under the circumstance of the case".

3. The writ petition was admitted in the year 2011 and a counter-affidavit was

filed on 27.06.2011 justifying the award of works in favour of the 4th respondent.

Along with the counter-affidavit, the relevant documents were also filed, which

would disclose that the works shall be completed within a period of 24 months. It

is stated that pursuant to the agreement entered with the 4th respondent, the works

were also executed.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ

petition.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to

costs.

6. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand disposed

of.
