ORAL JUDGMENT

Dt: 22.10.2021

(per Prashant Kumar Mishra, CJ)

This writ appeal is preferred against the order dated 17.02.2021

passed by the learned single Judge dismissing W.P.No.10026 of 2020 filed

by the appellant herein.

The aforesaid writ petition was filed challenging the proceedings

issued by the authorities cancelling the lease granted in favour of the

appellant for fishing rights in respect of Pedda Cheruvu situated in R.S.No.67

of Nyayampalli Village, Pedavegi Mandal, West Godavari District, for a period

of three years with effect from 01.07.2018 to 30.06.2021.

Vide order dated 01.03.2021, this Court granted interim suspension of

the order under appeal as well as the proceedings impugned in the writ

petition. Thus, by virtue of the said interim relief granted in this appeal, the

appellant has enjoyed the fishing rights flowing from the lease granted in his

favour for the entire lease period, which has come to an end on 30.06.2021.

As the lease period has already expired, nothing remains in this appeal for

adjudication.

Accordingly, the writ appeal is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
