                 WRIT PETITION NO.9810 of 2021

ORDER:

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the

representation, dated 04.01.2020 has been pending sing long

without a decision taken by the respondents. Therefore, he makes

a limited prayer for disposal of the Writ Petition with a direction to

the respondents to consider the said representation.

In view of the recent judgment of the Supreme Court, this

Court is not inclined to grant such an order. However, the learned

Standing Counsel for the respondents states that they are ready to

consider the representation on its own merits and dispose of the

same in accordance with law.

In view of the concession given by the learned Standing

Counsel, this Writ Petition is allowed giving direction to the

respondents to consider and dispose of the representation, dated

04.01.2020 within four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a

copy of this order. It is needless to say that the order should be

passed on its own merits, should be reasoned and it should be

communicated to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to

costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any,

pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
