JUDGMENT:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the

counsel of the appellant that he has received instructions from the appellant-

Insurance company to withdraw the appeal, and he also addressed a letter to

the Registry in this regard.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the

appellant and the contents of his letter, dated 27.01.2021, addressed to the

Registry, permission is accorded to withdraw the present appeal.

Accordingly, the MACMA is dismissed as withdrawn. No order as to

costs.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in

consequence.
