I.A.No.1 of 2021
Heard Mr. N. Aswartha Narayana, learned Govt.
Pleader for Services - I for the applicants/appellants and
Mr. Srinivasa Rao Madiraju, learned counsel for the
respondent/writ petitioner.
This is an application for condonation of delay of 183 days in preferring W.A.No.75 of 2021. In the application, it is stated that the impugned judgment was delivered on 20.08.2019, after the Writ Petition was filed on 07.08.2019. In order to obtain necessary information, three months' time was required and, thereafter, the learned Government Pleader was approached in January 2020, to prefer the appeal. As the grounds of delay etc. were made ready, lockdown was imposed and, therefore, the appeal could not be filed and it is in that circumstance, the aforesaid delay has occasioned. On due consideration, we are of the opinion that delay has been sufficiently explained and, accordingly, we condone the delay.
I.A. stands disposed of.
Registry will list the appeal for consideration after summer vacation 2021.
