1. This is an old appeal listed peremptorily.
2. List revised. None is present for either party, in either call.
3. The present appeal has been filed under Section 19 of the Family Courts Act, 1984 arising from the judgment and order dated 17.11.2016 passed by Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Meerut, in Case No.1825 of 2012 (Smt. Sangeet Kolipara Vs. Mahesh Kumar Kolipara) whereby the marriage between parties had been dissolved against permanent alimony etc.
4. On 15.02.2022, we passed below quoted order:
"1. List revised. None appears to press the appeal. Respondent is not represented.
2. This is an old appeal against decree of divorce granted upon payment of permanent alimony Rs.5,00,000/- and Rs.20,00,000/- under Section 27 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.
3. At present, status of deposit of permanent alimony and amount under Section 27 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, is not known. It is also not known if the appellant has taken steps to seek release of the same.
4. List on 05.11.2024, peremptorily.
5. Appellant may file personal affidavit with respect to facts noted above."
5. Today, none has appeared for either party.
6. The present appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution.
