2. No one appears on behalf of the revisionist to press this revision. Sri Bade Lal Bind, learned State counsel is present, who has been heard.

3. The present revision has been filed by the revisionist/Iqbal against the judgment and order dated 26.10.2013 passed by Upper Session Judge/Special Judge, E.C. Act, Badaun in Criminal Appeal No. 140/2012 under Section 7(1)/16(1)(a)(1) of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, Police Station Kotwali, District Badaun (Ikbal Vs. State of U.P.) seeking set aside the aforesaid judgment and order whereby the revisionist was convicted and sentenced for six months simple imprisonment.

4. As per office report dated 27.07.2017/13.10.2023 a report from C.J.M. concerned was called for regarding living status of the revisionist in the present revision. In compliance of the said order, C.J.M. concerned vide letter dated 04.01.2017 informed that the revisionist - Iqbal has died. The said report has been sent after due enquiry.

5. Accordingly, the revision stands abated.

6. The trial court records, if received, be sent back along with the communication of this order. Office to communicate this order to the District and Sessions Judge, concerned within two weeks from today.
