1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for State.

2. The prayer of petitioner in this writ petition is to direct Deputy Director of Consolidation, Chandauli to decide the restoration application No.20 of 2017 (Premnath Prasad and others Vs. Dulari), expeditiously.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction that concerned Authority will take all endeavour to decide the above referred revision after hearing rival parties, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from today, if there is no legal impediment and while considering the aforesaid restoration application, the concerned Authority shall also take note of the judgment passed by this Court in the case of Smt. Shivraji and others Vs. Deputy Director of Consolidation, Allahabad and others, 1997 SCC OnLine All 505 : (1997) 88 RD 563 (FB).

4. At this stage, learned counsel for petitioner on instruction submits that petitioner undertakes that on next as well as on subsequent dates either petitioner in person or through his Advocate shall appear before concerned Authority and will not take any adjournment.
