2. Heard Sri Kameshwar Singh, learned counsel for the appellants and Sri Virendra Pratap Singh, learned counsel for the State and perused the record.

3. The present appeal has been filed by the appellants- Ram Jee Singh and Surendra Singh against the judgment and order dated 15.02.2006 passed by Additional Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court) No. 2, Ballia in Sessions Trial No. 160 of 1992 (State Vs. Ram Jee Singh and others), Police Station Garwar, District Ballia.

4. As per office report dated 06.07.2023 a report from C.J.M. concerned was called for regarding living status of the appellants in present appeal. In compliance of the said order, C.J.M. concerned vide letter dated 07.06.2023 informed that the appellants- Ram Jee Singh and Surendra Singh have died on 30.12.2009 and 09.10.2021 respectively. In support of which a report of concerned police station and the copy of death certificate issued by Government of Uttar Pradesh as well as village pradhan and the copy of the statements of the other witnesses have also been annexed thereto.

5. Accordingly, the appeal stands abated.

6. Office is directed to communicate this order to the District and Sessions Judge concerned within two weeks from today.
