Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned standing counsel for State-respondents.

Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that present controversy is squarely covered with the judgment of this Court passed in Umesh Pratap Singh vs. State of U.P. and others; 2022 LawSuit(All) 1292 (Writ-A No. 7917 of 2022) decided on 09.09.2022, therefore, this petition may also be disposed of on same terms.

Learned standing counsel fairly submitted that case of petitioner shall also be considered and decided in light of judgment of this Court passed in Umesh Pratap Singh (Supra) at the earliest.

Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of in terms of judgment of this Court passed in Umesh Pratap Singh (Supra) directing respondent No. 3- The Chairman/ Deputy Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board Tulsi Ganga Complex, 19-C, Vidhan Sabha Marg, U.P. Lucknow to consider the case of petitioner and pass necessary order maximum within period of two months from the date of submission of certified copy of this order. In case respondent No. 3 is of the view that case of petitioner is not covered with Umesh Pratap Singh (Supra), he shall pass reasoned order to this effect within the same time.
