On 5.5.2022 the following order was passed:-

"A prayer for adjournment is being made on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

On 07.04.2022 following order was passed:-

"Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to serve respondent no.4 by Registered Post A.D, as well as by Dasti summons.

Steps may be taken within a week.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is further directed to file supplementary affidavit disclosing therein as to whether judgment passed in Civil Appeal No.7 of 1990 dated 28.8.1995 had attained finality, and / or was not challenged before any Court.

List as fresh on 5.5.2022."

Office report indicates that no steps has been taken by the learned counsel for the petitioner. We also find that no supplementary affidavit has been filed as well.

In case steps are not taken within 10 days, office is directed to list this case under Chapter XII Rule 4 of the High Court Rules on 24.05.2022."

Perused the office report dated 23.5.2022 according to which the petitioner has not taken steps.

Accordingly, the petition stands dismissed under Chapter XII Rule 4 of the High Court Rules.
