An affidavit of compliance has been filed today, which is taken on record.

The writ Court on 05.10.2021 while allowing Writ-A No.26368 of 2018 had directed for consideration of the candidature of the applicant under the OBC category and today an affidavit of compliance has been filed, wherein in paragraph 4, it is stated that the applicant has been declared selected in OBC Category pursuant to the judgment of this Court dated 11.03.2022 and the order has been sent by the Chairman, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow, copy of which has been brought on record as Annexure 1 to the affidavit of compliance, to the applicant as well as the S.S.P., Prayagraj.

In view of the said fact as the order of the writ Court having been complied and nothing remains to be complied, contempt application stands discharged.

File is consigned to record.
