This writ petition is filed by the Union of India against the judgment/order passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal in Original Application No. 1537 of 2010.

Sri S.K. Tyagi, learned counsel for respondent no. 1 (claimant) has pointed out that pursuant to the order passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, impugned in this petition, the competent authority has already made necessary compliance, thus, challenge to the order passed by the Tribunal has lost its efficacy.

Taking into account the statement made above, the writ petition has virtually been rendered infructuous. It is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.
