Citation : 2022 Latest Caselaw 2533 ALL
Judgement Date : 11 May, 2022

Allahabad High Court
Tula Ram vs Kishan Singh Atoriya Prin. Sec. ... on 11 May, 2022
Bench: Prakash Padia

HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD

?Court No. - 18

Case :- CONTEMPT APPLICATION (CIVIL) No. - 4791 of 2014

Applicant :- Tula Ram

Opposite Party :- Kishan Singh Atoriya Prin. Sec. U.P. Rajasva Anubhag Lko.

Counsel for Applicant :- Anwar Hussain

Counsel for Opposite Party :- S.C.

Hon'ble Prakash Padia,J.

List has been revised but nobody is present on behalf of the applicant.

The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceedings against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the judgment and order dated 17.12.2013 passed in Civil Misc. Writ Petition No. 69270 of 2013 (Tula Ram vs. State of U.P. and 2 others).

From perusal of the record, it appears that either the order of the Writ Court has been complied with or the parties have lost their interest.

In the circumstances, it is needless to keep this contempt application pending.

In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed

However, in case any relief still survives in the present application, the applicant shall be at liberty to file application for revival of the present application.

Order Date :- 11.5.2022
