1. By way of this criminal revision under Section 397/401 CrPC, the revisionist-State has challenged the judgment and order dated 15th May, 1999 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Lucknow in Criminal Case No.3 of 1996 (State of U.P. through Public Prosecutor Vs. Raman Kripal and others) under Section 500/501 IPC, Police Station Hazratganj, District Lucknow.

While hearing Mr. Ranvijay Singh, learned Additional Government Advocate, representing the revisionist, as well as Mr. Rishad Murtaza, learned counsel representing respondents, and going gone through the record, this Court does not find that the learned Sessions Judge, while passing the impugned order, had committed any error of law or jurisdiction, inasmuch as Section199 (5) CrPC prescribes a period of 6 months for filing a criminal complaint under Section 199(2) CrPC and there is an absolute limitation and Section 470(3) CrPC or Section 473 CrPC or Section 5 of the Limitation Act will not apply to the proceedings got initiated against the respondents.
3. Thus, this revision, being devoid of merit and substance, is hereby dismissed.
