This appeal has been filed by three appellants, namely, Sundar Pal Singh; Om Prakash alias Omi; and Anil Kumar against the judgment and order dated 10.10.1995/31.10.1995 passed by IIIrd Additional Sessions Judge, Mathura in S.T. No. 23 of 1993 convicting the appellants under Section 302/34 I.P.C. and sentencing them to imprisonment for life.

The office has submitted a report dated 16.04.2022 stating therein that information has been received from the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mathura that all the three appellants have died.

The report of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mathura dated 30.03.2022 has been placed on record as per which the appellant Sundar Pal Singh died 20 years ago; appellant Om Prakash alias Omi died 15 years ago; and appellant Anil Kumar died 16 years ago. The report is accompanied by documents and statement of witnesses confirming the death of the aforesaid appellants.

In view of the above, the appeal stands abated.
