Notice on behalf of opposite party no. 1 has been accepted by the learned Chief Standing Counsel whereas Mr. Rishabh Kapoor, Advocate has accepted notice for opposite parties no. 2 to 7.
Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the amount of Rs. 2,08,479.60 is not being paid by the opposite parties although it is undisputed and admitted amount. It is submitted that in view of law laid down by the Apex Court vide judgment dated 08.03.2019 rendered in Civil Appeal No. 2610 of 2019; M/s Surya Constructions vs. State of U.P. and others, the opposite parties are liable to pay interest on the outstanding admitted amount.
Mr. Rishabh Kapoor, learned counsel for opposite parties no. 2 to 7 prays for and is granted a week's time to complete his instructions.
