Heard counsel for the parties.

The present application has been filed for quashing of the Complaint Case No. 648 of 2020 (Old No. 648 of 2009), under Sections 420, 467, 468, 120-B IPC, P.S. Iglas, District Aligarh, pending in the Court of A.C.J.M., Court No. 6, Aligarh.

The parties appearing before this Court agree that the matter has been settled in between the parties.

This Court vide order dated 25.1.2021, had directed the parties to appear before the Court below for verification of the compromise. In terms of the said order, a report has been received verifying the compromise.

Considering the fact that the matter has been compromised in between the parties and considering the nature of the offences as well the judgment of the Supreme Court in the case of Gian Singh v State of Punjab and Another; (2012) 10 SCC 303, the proceedings of Complaint Case No. 648 of 2020 (Old No. 648 of 2009), under Sections 420, 467, 468, 120-B IPC, P.S. Iglas, District Aligarh, pending in the Court of A.C.J.M., Court No. 6, Aligarh, are quashed.

The application is allowed.
