(1) Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

(2) The petitioner prays for a direction to be issued to the Board of Secondary Education, the Opposite party no.2 to issue his Educational Certificate in his changed name i.e. Kabir Chaudhary instead of Hanuman Prasad which name he worn when he passed his Class X Examination in 1992 and Class XII Examination in 1994.

(3) It has been submitted by the petitioner that he had changed his name to Kabir Chaudhary in 2018 and got it published in the Official Gazette on 13.01.2018. Thereafter, he applied to the Opposite party no.2 but no action has been taken in his case and therefore he has approached this Court.

(4) This petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the opposite party no.2 to consider the case of the petitioner in the light of the judgment rendered by the Division Bench in the case of Anand Singh Vs. State of U.P. Secondary Education and Others reported in 2014 (2) U.P.L.E.B.C. 1330 and in the case of Kabir Jaiswal Vs. Union of India reported in 2015 AIR Allahabad 95 and pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of six weeks from the date a copy of this order is produced before him.
