This criminal appeal has been filed against the judgment and order dated 13.12.2001 passed by Special Judge (S.C. & S.T. Act), Kanpur Nagar in Sessions Trial No. 479 of 2000, under Section 504 IPC and 3(1)(x) S.C. & S.T. Act, Police Station - Kidwai Nagar, District - Kanpur Nagar.

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Kanpur Nagar vide Letter dated 29.9.2020 has informed that sole accused / appellant -Sukhdeo Prasad Shukla has died.

As such, the sole appellant- Sukhdeo Prasad Shukla has died, hence the appeal stands abated.

The criminal appeal is dismissed as abated.
