Heard Sri Lalji Yadav, learned counsel for respondent No.4 and the A.G.A. Nobody appears for the petitioners nor is there any request for adjournment of the case nor any illness slip has been preferred.

This petition has been filed for quashing the first information report dated 19.5.2018 lodged by respondent No.4 in case crime No.40 of 2018 under Sections-498A, 323, 504, 313 of I.P.C. and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station -Mahila Thana,District-Pratapgarh.

This Court on the request of the petitioners had referred the matter to the mediation centre. The respondent had also consented for the mediation. The mediation centre has reported that the mediation has failed.

After going through the contents of the first information report, we feel that the first information report prima facie discloses commission of cognizable offence, hence no interference is required in the case. The petition is accordingly dismissed.
