Heard learned counsel for the applicants and learned A.G.A. for the State.

Vakalatnama filed by Sri Ashok Kumar Singh, counsel for opposite party no. 2, is taken on record.

The present application under section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed to quash the charge sheet dated 05.05.2018 as well as Cognizance order dated 17.06.2018 and proceedings of case no. 67 of 2017, under section 498 A, 323, 504, 506, 147, 307, 420 I.P.C. and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 3(2)5 (V) SC/ST Act , Police Station Gandhi Park, District Agra pending in the court of Upper Civil Judge 2nd, Aligarh.

The counsel for the respondent no. 2 has agreed for referring the matter to the mediation centre in this view of the fact no notice be sent to the opposite part no. 2. Both the parties shall appear before the mediation centre on 13.11.2018,

It is directed that applicants shall deposit a sum of Rs.10,000 /- within two weeks from today with the Mediation Centre of which Rs. 7500 /- shall be paid to the opposite party no.2 for appearance before the Mediation Centre on the date fixed. Balance Rs. 2500/- shall be retained by the mediation center towards its expenses.

It is directed that Mediation Centre shall proceed in the matter expeditiously preferably within a period of three months. Thereafter the case shall be listed before appropriate Bench.

Subject to the applicants depositing the amount of Rs.10,000/- as above, till the next date of listing, further proceedings against the applicants in the aforesaid case shall be kept in abeyance.

In case the aforesaid amount is not deposited within the aforesaid period the interim protection granted above shall automatically be vacated.
