Prayer in the present petition is to issue a direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Kanpur Nagar to decide the Matrimonial Petition No.649 of 2015 (Amit Kumar Chaubey Vs. Smt. Madhuri) under Section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act' 1955.

The suit is pending since 27.04.2015. The order sheet indicates that the evidence of the petitioner has been concluded and an adjournment is being sought by the respondent from 15.03.2018 onwards. At one point of time, the Court has also imposed cost on the adjournment application moved by the respondent no.2.

Be that as it may, perused the order sheet, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the present petition is being disposed of with the direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Kanpur Nagar to decide the Matrimonial Petition No..649 of 2015 (Amit Kumar Chaubey Vs. Smt. Madhuri) under Section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act' 1955, expeditiously, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
