After a deficiency of Rs. 14,97,250/- was found by the Assistant Commissioner Stamp, District Maharajganj, the petitioner filed an appeal which was also dismissed on 19.5.2018. Hence the instant writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that none of the grounds was considered by the two authorities.

Matter requires consideration.

Learned Standing Counsel will file a counter affidavit within a period of three weeks. Rejoinder affidavit, if any, may be filed within a period of two weeks thereafter.

List on 12.7.2018.

If the petitioner deposits 1/3rd of the deficiency found by the Assistant Commissioner Stamp, District Maharajganj, the impugned orders shall remain stayed. Any amount which has been already deposited shall be adjusted towards the deposit the petitioner shall now make.
