This short term bail application filed by appellant, Manik Raj is moved by Shri Suresh Chandra Srivastava, Advocate and opposed by the learned Additional Government Advocate.

It is submitted that daughter of appellant, Manik Raj, namely, Km. Khushmati is going to marry on 14th June, 2018. Thus, the appellant may be enlarged on short term bail for participating in the marriage and also for performing the rituals of the marriage.

Learned Additional Government Advocate, after seeking instructions from the concerned authority, has submitted that it is a fact that the daughter of the appellant is going to marry on 14th June, 2018.

In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, we allow this short term bail application and direct the trial Court to release the appellant, Manik Raj, who is convict of Sessions Trial No.248 of 2001, arising out of Case Crime No.185 of 2001, under Section 302 I.P.C., Police Station Kadipur, District Sultanpur, on his furnishing a personal bond and two sureties each in the like amount to its satisfaction from 12th June, 2018 to 16th June, 2018.

The appellant, Manik Raj is directed to surrender in the trial Court on 17th June, 2018. If the appellant, Manik Raj does not surrender on the date stipulated herein above then the trial Court shall take all coercive steps for his appearance.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, this application stands disposed of.
