The petitioner claims to be elected treasurer of the registered Society namely Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sadhana Devi Yug Nirman Shiksha Samiti, Village Ghumari, Aliganj Etah which is running several educational institutions. The petitioner is raising a grievance regarding the manner in which, funds of the society are being misused by the President and Secretary of the Society.
Submission is that on the application moved by the petitioner, the bank manager had blocked the transaction of the bank account of the society vide order dated 08.09.2017. A complaint has been made by the petitioner before the Assistant Registrar, Firms Societies & Chits Funds, Agra under Section 24 of the Societies Registration Act' 1860.
Submission is that till date, no action has been taken by the Assistant Registrar.
Be that as it mat, without entering into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the present petition is being disposed of with the direction to the respondent no.2 namely the Assistant Registrar, Firm and Societies, Chits Funds, Agra to consider the complaint made by the petitioner dated 2.05.2017, allegedly sent through registered post, and take a decision, in accordance with law, after due notice and opportunity to all concerned, expeditiously, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of submission of certified copy of this order.
