Heard Sri Manoj Kumar Keshari, Praveen Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Vikash Rana, learned A.G.A. appearing for the State, and perused the record.
The only prayer made by the applicant is that a direction be issued to the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Court No.6, Varanasi, to expeditiously decide the Criminal Revision No. 72 of 2009 (Basant Lal Vs. State of U.P. and others), arises against the Case No. 2311 of 2007 (State VS. Namdev Rajwani and another), in Case Crime No. 341 of 2000, under Sections 420, 468, 471 IPC, Police Station Cantt., District Varanasi, pending in the Court of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Court No.6, Varanasi, within a definite period.
Considering the facts of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the applicant's case, this application U/s 482 Cr.P.C. is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide Criminal Revision No. 72 of 2009 (Basant Lal Vs. State of U.P. and others), in accordance with law without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
