It has been submitted by the petitioner's Counsel that opposite parties are circumventing the order of the writ court by mis-reading the Government Order dated 3.4.2011. In order to substantiate his assertions, the petitioner's Counsel has invited attention towards the paragraph 5 of the counter affidavit filed by opposite party no.3 wherein it has been indicated that in compliance of Government Order dated 3.9.2001, petitioners have already been granted second promotional pay scale of  Rs. 4500-7000. According to the petitioners' Counsel, in the table petitioners have been shown to have been granted pay scale of Rs. 4500-7000 on completion of 14 years service and in next column,  surprisingly, on completion of 24 years again, they have again been granted the same pay scale of Rs. 4500-7000. There can not be same promotional scale on completion of 14 years and 24 years service. As per Government Order, they are entitled for pay scale of Rs. 5000-8000 as second promotional pay scale on completion of 24 years satisfactory service.

A weeks' time is allowed to the Standing Counsel to seek instructions/clarifications and file a supplementary counter affidavit.
